New Orleans Saints sacked head coach after 7 straight losses

The New Orleans Saints have stumbled out of the gate this NFL season, leading to major staffing changes.

Details: Today, the team officially announced the dismissal of head coach Dennis Allen.

The move comes as the Saints endure their longest losing streak since 1999, now stretching to seven games. After nine games, the Saints sit in 14th place in their conference, having managed only two wins at the start of the season.

Allen had been with the Saints franchise since 2015. He initially joined as an assistant defensive coordinator, then became defensive coordinator before being promoted to head coach in 2022.

Reminder: Yesterday, NFL star Jason Kelce reportedly smashed a fan’s phone following an offensive comment.
