New Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha plays street football with friends in Brazil

Manchester United’s newest star, Matheus Cunha, took advantage of his vacation in Brazil to reconnect with his roots, hitting the local court in his hometown of João Pessoa for a spirited kickabout with friends. The forward shared a video of the action on his Instagram account.
The footage captures Cunha dazzling with his signature footwork, weaving past defenders before delivering a sublime backheel assist to a teammate, who slots the ball into the net.
It’s worth recalling that Cunha recently completed a £62.5 million transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Manchester United. Prior to his move to England, Cunha played for Swiss side Sion, RB Leipzig, Hertha Berlin, and Atlético Madrid.
Last season, the Brazilian made 36 appearances across all competitions for Wolves, netting 17 goals and providing 6 assists.
Notably, Matheus Cunha is also a member of Brazil’s national team. He made his debut on September 3, 2021, and has since earned 15 caps, scoring once for the Seleção.
