New format and new music. UEFA has slightly modified the Champions League anthem

In the 2024/25 season, the UEFA Champions League will, for the first time in history, be conducted under a new format. Instead of the traditional group stage, there will be a single league consisting of 36 teams, where each club will play 8 matches against 8 different opponents.

But this is not the only change to get accustomed to. UEFA has also altered the iconic Champions League anthem that plays before matches.

In the new version, UEFA has placed a greater emphasis on the vocal elements rather than the instrumental ones.

As a reminder, the draw for the league stage of the 2024/25 Champions League will take place on August 29, and for the first time, it will be conducted with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
