Brazilian powerhouse Palmeiras is once again drawing the gaze of Europe’s elite, masterfully executing their strategy of nurturing and selling young talents. The latest headline-grabber could be 16-year-old winger Eduardo Conceição, for whom clubs are already prepared to shell out tens of millions of euros.
According to UOL, Palmeiras has already turned down several offers for their winger, one of which exceeded €25 million. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal are among the suitors, but any potential deal promises to come with a hefty price tag.
Conceição’s contract with Palmeiras runs until January 2029 and features a €100 million release clause specifically for foreign clubs. The Brazilians are open to negotiations, but have made it clear they won’t let the player go for less than €45 million.
Should the transfer go through on such terms, Conceição could join the top three most expensive sales in the club’s history. Previously, Palmeiras pocketed over €40 million each for Endrick and Estevao.
