New and doubled financial value from CAF for CHAN championship 2025
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it will give a financial increase to the prizes of the 2024 African domestic championship of nations, which is being jointly hosted by Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. The tournament will start on the first of February.
The winner of the tournament will receive prize money of three and a half million US dollars, reflecting an increase of 75% over the previous tournament, and the total prize money of the tournament increased to 10.4 million euros, an increase of 34%.
