Details: According to Bild, Neuer had a conversation on this topic with the head coach of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann.

During their discussion, they concluded that if ter Stegen is unable to return to his previous level after his severe injury, Neuer should consider resuming his international career for the 2026 World Cup.
