Negotiations continue. Højlund gives green light for Inter move

Rasmus Højlund has agreed to a move to Inter Milan, but the deal could fall through due to Manchester United's steep demands. The 22-year-old striker, who endured a tough season in England, is eager to return to Serie A, where he previously enjoyed a successful stint with Atalanta.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter have emerged as the frontrunners in the race for the Danish forward. However, the Red Devils are demanding a hefty fee: they paid around €78 million plus bonuses for Højlund in 2023 and are not yet willing to compromise significantly.
Inter hope to close the deal for €40–45 million, but only in a loan format with an option to buy, which could become mandatory under certain conditions. Last season, the striker scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 52 appearances.
