Milan is actively working in the January transfer window and is in need of strengthening their attacking positions. The Rossoneri are already finalizing two official transfers and are also developing a strategy to convince Chelsea to let João Félix go.
Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere della Sera, the new head coach Sérgio Conceição is targeting the Portuguese forward, who was once considered a future star but whose career has since declined.
The transfer is facilitated by the fact that Félix’s agent is Jorge Mendes, who also works with Sérgio Conceição and has close ties with Milan. Additionally, Félix’s salary of €4.5 million per season is significantly lower than that of Marcus Rashford, who has also been linked with the Italian club.
Reminder: Atlético Madrid bought Félix for €127 million from Benfica in 2019, after which he was loaned to Chelsea and Barcelona before being sold to the Blues for €52 million.
