On the night of Thursday, June 13, the third game of the NBA playoff finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics took place. The Celtics were leading the series 2-0.

The hosts performed better in the first quarter, winning it 31-30. Dallas continued to lead after the second 12 minutes, which ended in a 29-29 tie. However, the third quarter proved to be the decisive moment in the game.

In the third quarter, Boston dominated their opponent, outscoring them 35-19. The Mavericks were unable to overcome this significant deficit, even though they won the final quarter 29-21.

Boston triumphed with a score of 106-99, taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the series and positioning themselves just one step away from winning the 2024 NBA playoffs.
