Nasreddine Nabi outlines his demands for next season
After Nasreddine Nabi ended Kaizer Chiefs' 10-year trophy drought, the Tunisian coach now seems to be setting additional conditions to continue with the team.
Speaking recently, the Tunisian coach confirmed that he had held talks with the club's chairman to outline his demands for the upcoming season, and these talks were pivotal for the future of the team. The meeting between the two parties took place after the current season of the Betway Premiership came to an end, which was the end of the Tunisian coach's first season with the Glamour Boys.
While celebrating their Nedbank Cup victory, coach Nabi insists this achievement is merely the foundation for greater things to come. The tactician has already begun planning for next season, emphasizing the urgent need for new signings to build on their recent success.
Following their season-ending stalemate against Polokwane City at FNB Stadium, Nabi confirmed discussions with chairman Dr. Motaung are well underway. "We met with the chairman on Friday and have identified our exact requirements," revealed the coach, choosing to keep specific transfer targets confidential.
With the recruitment team working tirelessly behind the scenes, Nabi expressed confidence in their preparations: "While I won't disclose numbers or positions, everyone understands the squad's needs. Negotiations have already commenced, and we're optimistic about strengthening significantly for next season."
