Nasarawa United reclaimed the top spot of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after a strong 3-0 win over El-Kanemi Warriors in Lafia on Sunday. The victory takes the Solid Miners to 27 points from 14 matches, putting them three points clear of Ikorodu City. Last season’s top scorer, Anas Yusuf, grabbed a brace, while Garba Mohammed added the third goal to seal the win.

Defending champions Remo Stars also bounced back, defeating Barau FC 2-0 at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta. Ahmed Akinyele opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and Victor Mbaoma doubled the lead shortly after the half-hour mark.

In Enugu, Rangers claimed a 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes thanks to Kenechukwu Agu, who struck the winning goal 20 minutes before full-time.

Wikki Tourists fought back from an early setback to draw 1-1 with Bayelsa United in Bauchi. Ifeanyi Ogba scored for Bayelsa after eight minutes, before Nasir Jibrin equalised late on.

Warri Wolves and Kun Khalifat FC also settled for a 1-1 draw, while Abia Warriors vs Bendel Insurance and Kwara United vs Shooting Stars ended goalless.
