Napoli sets sights on Paixão – Feyenoord demands 30 million euros
Igor Paixão continues to capture the attention of European clubs with his standout performances for Feyenoord. Napoli has already taken initial steps towards a potential transfer, inquiring about the terms of the deal with the Dutch club.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has become one of the main stars of the season in the Eredivisie, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists in 25 matches. In the Champions League, he made his mark in the match against Milan, scoring the winning goal that helped Feyenoord advance past the Italians in the playoffs.
According to Calciomercato.com, Feyenoord values the forward at a minimum of 30 million euros plus bonuses. Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna has listed Paixão as a priority target to bolster the attack following the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Neapolitans are also keeping an eye on Japanese defender Yukinari Sugawara, who might be available at a reduced price due to Southampton's potential relegation.
