The disciplinary authorities must carefully review this incident and deliver their verdict.
Details: Today, the official website of Napoli published a statement in which the club strongly condemns the behavior of 58-year-old Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri during yesterday's Italian Super Cup semifinal.
In the 89th minute, Milan was trailing 0-2 and Allegri, unable to contain his emotions, got into a heated verbal exchange with Napoli's coaching staff and sporting coordinator Gabriele Oriali. Reports indicate that Allegri used extremely harsh language towards Napoli representatives.
Napoli's statement reads:
“SSC Napoli strongly condemns the behavior of Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri. Such aggression, which was completely out of control, should not go unnoticed, especially given that the incident was fully recorded on video.”
Napoli hopes that the relevant authorities will respond to Allegri's behavior and take appropriate action.
The second finalist of the Italian Super Cup will be decided today in the match between Inter and Bologna.
