Napoli has excluded midfielder Piotr Zielinski from the team's Champions League squad, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

According to the source, Inter Milan is in negotiations with Zielinski's representatives for a potential contract signing with the Pole as a free agent in June. This led to Napoli's decision to exclude Zielinski from the tournament participants' list.

Earlier, there was information that the Polish international rejected Napoli's contract extension offer, with Napoli reportedly offering Zielinski a salary of 5 million euros. In response, Inter is prepared to pay the midfielder 4.5 million euros per season.

In the current season, Piotr Zielinski has played 26 matches for Napoli, scoring three goals and providing an equal number of assists. It's worth noting that Napoli will play their next match tomorrow, facing Verona in the 23rd round of Serie A.
