Despite having a lengthy contract and an unconditional place in the main squad, Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo is considering a change of club in the summer. But, the 30-year-old defender is taking a thorough approach to choosing his new team, which may prompt him to agree to one tempting offer.

So, according to Calcio Napoli, citing Il Mattino, Di Lorenzo has attracted the attention of Aston Villa, who are ready to create quite tempting conditions for the right-back in Birmingham, and, as a consequence, a game in the English Premier League.

The player could also be an ideal replacement for Matty Cash, as the form of the Polish national team representative with English roots in the current season is not optimal.

It remains unknown how much Napoli will ask for their captain, but Transfermarkt estimates the 30-year-old defender at 18 million euros.
