Napoli captain has told Conte he wants to move to main rivals' squad

Napoli's right-back and captain, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, has informed the team's new head coach, Antonio Conte, that he will be leaving the club this summer.

Moreover, as reported by TMW, Di Lorenzo will not only depart from the club but will join Napoli’s arch-rival, Juventus.

According to the source, Conte called Di Lorenzo and said:

“You must stay. I need you. They will have to walk over my dead body to sell you.”

However, Di Lorenzo informed him that he is already negotiating a four-year contract with Juventus, and his time at Napoli has come to an end.

Di Lorenzo has been with Napoli since the summer of 2019. During his tenure, he has made 231 appearances, scored 15 goals, and provided 36 assists. Before Napoli, he played for Empoli and Reggina.
