28-year-old Naomi Osaka, after successfully advancing through two rounds at the Australian Open, has decided to withdraw from the tournament in the round of 32.

Details: The world No. 17, Naomi Osaka, took to Instagram to address her fans and announced that she is ending her Australian Open campaign this year. The reason is an injury sustained during her last match against Sorana Cirstea (2:1).

This tournament in Australia marked Osaka’s tenth appearance at the event: she has twice lifted the trophy, in 2019 and 2021.
