Former Manchester United star Nani has found himself involved in a rather unpleasant incident with a fan upon returning to his homeland, and the situation has even reached Portuguese police.
Details: According to a Reddit user named TetadaGeorgina, Nani allegedly took a fan's shirt without returning it. The shirt in question was not an original jersey but one the fan had bought from a marketplace, specifically to get signed by the Euro 2016 winner. The seller had assured the fan that the shirt wasn’t an authentic piece directly from the player, but it certainly looked like one.
Quote:"I bought the shirt and received it on Wednesday. Excited, I went to the Estrela da Amadora stadium on Thursday after training to get his autograph. As soon as he saw the shirt, he immediately asked me where I got it and where it came from.
I honestly told him I bought it and showed him it had nothing to do with his personal gear. He grabbed the shirt, asked me to take it off the hanger, then placed it on the passenger seat, closed the window, and just drove off."
