Nainggolan could return to Roma, but with a twist
Most of his career has been spent in Italy, including a significant stint at Roma, where Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan played over 200 matches. He is not forgotten in the Eternal City, and now Roma is ready to bring him back—but in a different role.
Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 36-year-old midfielder has received an offer from Roma's futsal team, which, after 13 rounds of the Serie A, has accumulated 22 points and is in sixth place, securing a spot in the playoff zone.
The futsal team was only established in October of last year, with Roma taking over and renaming the previous club, Olympus, which had existed since 1999.
Reminder: Nainggolan has been without a club since July after leaving Indonesian side Bhayangkara. During his ten matches for the Asian team, he scored one goal and provided three assists.
