It has been revealed that Julian Nagelsmann will continue to lead the German national team until 2026.
According to well-known German journalist Christian Falk, the coach will step down from his role with the Bundesteam after the World Cup.
The 36-year-old coach has expressed a desire to return to club-level coaching rather than continuing with the national team. This decision stands regardless of Germany's performance at the 2026 World Cup.
The Bundesteam was eliminated from the home Euro 2024 tournament after losing 1:2 to Spain in the quarterfinals.
This continued the unfortunate trend of host countries failing to win the European Championship for 40 years.
Tomorrow, July 14th, the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England will take place. The match is set to kick off at 21:00 Central European Time.
