N14m-Per-Goal Bonus Fires Up Super Eagles

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been promised a $10,000 (about ₦14 million) bonus for every goal scored against Mozambique in today’s Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 match in Morocco. BSNSports reports the incentive is offered by a Nigerian business mogul and team partner for the Fez Stadium encounter. Nigeria scored eight goals in three Group C games.

National Sports Commission chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko confirmed the move, saying, “We have fully mobilized the Super Eagles to succeed…”. The incentives rise as the tournament progresses.
