Young Africans striker Clement Mzize, previously linked with Kaizer Chiefs, is reportedly staying put despite interest from clubs. Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca submitted an offer for the 21-year-old, but Set Sport Info reports Mzize plans to stay with Yanga during the January transfer window. The striker has also attracted interest from European clubs, including a Belgian team, and several Egyptian sides.

After 15 game, Yanga's only one point behind Simba SC in the Tanzanian Premier League. With 4 goal in 5 game, Mzize has shown promise in the CAF Champions League.

Stephane Aziz Ki, midfielder for Yanga, also in the news at the moment. The Burkina Faso international was target for Wydad Casablanca, but it has been claimed that Libyan Al Ahly Benghazi has made a superior offer. Yanga previously declared that they aren't selling, putting their CAF Champions League campaign and domestic championship competition first, despite interest in both players.
