"My task is clear". Carsley on possibility of staying as England head coach

Many believe that interim head coach Lee Carsley could potentially take on the role permanently, and Carsley recently commented on these rumors.

Details: Carsley doesn’t appear eager to lose the “interim” title next to his position, as he prefers to return to England’s U21 team, where he originally came from.

Quote: "My task has been clear from the beginning. I’m here for three camps; there are three games left, and then, hopefully, I’ll be back with the U21 team. The loss to Greece won’t affect my future.

From the outset, I’ve said I wouldn’t rule myself out for the role, and that’s still the case. I’m more than comfortable with my current position. The goal was clearly defined. I’m comfortable and confident in this," Carsley told the press.
