"My opinion is clear": Shevchenko weighs in on whether Lewandowski deserved the Ballon d’Or

The football community is nearly unanimous: in 2020, the Ballon d’Or should have gone to Robert Lewandowski. However, the award’s organizers decided not to present it that year. Lewandowski's brilliant form has reignited calls for him to receive the honor, and 2004 Ballon d’Or winner Andriy Shevchenko has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Details: The former Milan and Chelsea striker agreed that Lewandowski deserves his Ballon d’Or and expressed willingness to support any poll or petition advocating for the recognition.

Quote: "Robert earned it with a hundred goals in the Champions League. He deserves to be remembered by the entire football world forever. The Ballon d’Or? My opinion is clear. Whatever the formula, petition, vote, or anything else: Robert Lewandowski has my vote. Yes, I would definitely support the idea!" Shevchenko said in an interview with goal.pl.
