"My dream became reality". Roque commented on his arrival at Barcelona
Brazilian national team striker Vitor Roque shared his initial thoughts on joining Barcelona. On December 27th, El Tigre arrived in the Catalan capital to join the Blaugranas.
"My dream became reality. I'm here to learn from this group and to score goals for Barcelona. I can’t wait to get started" told Roque.
The Brazilian is expected to undergo a medical examination shortly, and the club plans to present him at the beginning of January. Following the Blaugranas' return from vacation, Roque will commence training alongside his new teammates.
It is worth recalling that Barcelona acquired Roque from Atlético Paranaense for €40 million in the summer, but he continued playing in Brazil until the end of the year. In the concluded Brazilian league season, Roque scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 25 matches. He also notched four goals and one assist in eight Copa Libertadores appearances.
