"Must look at the reality." Carlo Ancelotti comments on defeat in El Clasico

Real Madrid suffered a crushing 2-5 loss to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final. After the match, Carlo Ancelotti shared his emotions.

Details: In a post-match interview, the Real Madrid coach stated that it is important to look at the result and acknowledge the fact that they played poorly defensively. Barcelona scored goals very easily, and Real Madrid did not perform well either collectively or individually.

Quote: "The game didn't go well from the first to the last minute. Even with an extra player, we couldn't find a solution. I'm disappointed with the overall performance. I can't take anything from it except Mbappé's play, who scored a wonderful goal with good movement. We need to forget about the rest and look ahead," Ancelotti commented on the match.

He added that Barcelona deserved this victory because they defended much better.

Reminder: Barcelona scored four goals in the first half against Real Madrid for the first time in 82 years. The last time this happened was on January 10, 1943. Back then, the score at halftime was 4-2, and the match ended in a 5-5 draw.
