Mudryk's entourage has a theory on how doping may have entered the player's system
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk tested positive for doping. The sample he submitted in November following matches with the Ukrainian national team showed the presence of meldonium in his system. An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Details: According to TeamTALK, Mudryk's entourage suspects that the banned substance may have entered the footballer's system through food.
Their theory suggests that someone deliberately set Mudryk up.
Earlier, fans online accused Russian model Violetta Gracheva, widely speculated to be Mudryk's girlfriend despite no official confirmation from the pair, of being involved in his troubles.
Reminder: Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has expressed confidence that Mudryk's career with the club is not over.
