Since the 38-year-old coach terminated his contract with English side Burnley prematurely, questions arose regarding compensation for his move and the terms of the contract with the "Recordmaster." According to information from the German press, the clubs agreed on a sum ranging from 10 to 11 million euros plus bonuses, depending on Kompany's success with the new club.
Vincent Kompany's contract with Bayern runs until 2027 without a mandatory extension option. The Belgian coach will receive a salary of 7 to 9 million euros per year, depending on bonuses for the team's performance under his leadership.
