MS Dhoni returns! Legend's participation in Mumbai clash confirmed
The long-awaited return of Dhoni to the Chennai Super Kings lineup will be a pivotal moment in the highly anticipated showdown against the Mumbai Indians.
Details: During the broadcast of the match between RR and DK, commentator Jatin Sapru asked Suresh Raina about the possible return of Mahendra MS Dhoni, hinting at his inside knowledge of CSK affairs.
Raina responded briefly:
“Maybe he'll play tomorrow,” he said.
To this, Aakash Chopra jokingly noted that Raina has been saying the same thing for the past three matches.
However, after his colleague’s playful remark, Raina confidently confirmed the news.
"He’s playing tomorrow against Mumbai," declared the former India international.
This statement effectively puts an end to the swirling rumors about the legendary captain’s health and readiness for the upcoming round.
