Mourinho wants to appease Fenerbahçe fans with high-profile transfer from Man United

Victor Osimhen's move to Galatasaray has made Fenerbahçe fans envious of their rivals, but the Canaries' head coach José Mourinho intends to appease his fans and bring in a star player too.

According to Turkish publication Fotomac, Fenerbahçe want to sign Manchester United winger Antony in order to appease their fans. The Istanbul club intends to rent the Brazilian and has already entered into negotiations with the Red Devils.

It is noteworthy that last season Galatasaray also wanted to take Antony on loan, but then the club from the banks of the Bosphorus eventually signed Hakim Ziyech. Fenerbahçe are determined to see this through to the end, and it is believed that the Mourinho factor will be fundamental in this regard.

Antony has not been in demand this season with Erik ten Hag giving the Brazilian just one minute of game time this season. Earlier it was reported about Fenerbahce's interest in the services of Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier.
