Sometimes people in the football world say things out of emotion, and then they have to backtrack. This includes saying the exact opposite of what they previously stated.
Details: Earlier, Fenerbahçe head coach José Mourinho expressed his desire to lead a team that is not participating in European competitions, perhaps one from the lower part of the Premier League table, after leaving the Turkish side. However, the Portuguese later retracted his own statement:
Quote: “Even though the Premier League is the best competition in the world, I will never go there to manage a club that is in the relegation zone. I will never go to manage one of those teams,” Mourinho told Liverpool Echo.
Reminder: Following the Portuguese's statement, rumors emerged that he could take over at Everton, whose new management is dissatisfied with current head coach Sean Dyche.
