But the situation took an unexpected turn. According to fresh reports from AS, the Spanish midfielder firmly rejected PSG’s offer, refusing even to discuss the terms on the table. Rodri’s priority remains a return to Spain or continuing his career at Manchester City.
It’s worth noting that on July 28, Manchester City confirmed Rodri had undergone a minor back operation and would now begin a short recovery period. The 30-year-old midfielder’s current contract with the English club runs for another season.
