José Mourinho spent a period managing Fenerbahçe in Turkey, but was dismissed at the start of the 2025/26 season and is now seeking legal action.

Details: According to NTV, Mourinho has filed a complaint against Turkey with the European Court of Human Rights. The reason behind the move is the disciplinary sanctions imposed on the Portuguese coach by the Turkish Football Federation during his time working in the Süper Lig.

It was also recently reported that Florentino Pérez confirmed iconic Portuguese manager José Mourinho would become Real Madrid’s next head coach, but only if the current president is victorious in the upcoming club elections.

Reminder: Meanwhile, the Portuguese manager has reportedly drawn up a list of players he believes should leave the Santiago Bernabéu, as they do not fit into his plans for the future.
