Recently, Chelsea were sanctioned by UEFA for breaching financial regulations, and now the club needs to raise funds through transfers in order to register new players. This is where an unconventional move comes into play.

Details: According to TBR Football, Fenerbahce, managed by former Chelsea boss José Mourinho, has shown interest in Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard, with the "Canaries" valuing him at €13 million. Given that the Belgian has just one year left on his contract and will turn 31 this winter, this is essentially the only chance for Arsenal to make a profit from his sale.

This brings up a logical question: where does Chelsea come into the picture? The answer is quite straightforward. Trossard’s sale could accelerate the "Gunners’" pursuit of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, whose transfer fee is estimated at £50 million—just £10 million short of what UEFA demands from Chelsea.

So, even though Mourinho is no longer working in the Premier League, he could indirectly help Chelsea comply with UEFA’s requirements. Additionally, rumors suggest Arsenal could even consider signing Real Madrid’s Rodrygo after these moves, as they would have the funds available.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Arsenal has already agreed personal terms with Madueke.
