Mourinho can't be stopped! Marco Asensio set to join Fenerbahce
It looks like José Mourinho won't back down from his mission to turn Fenerbahce into a true powerhouse in European football.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on social media platform X, 29-year-old PSG attacking midfielder Marco Asensio is on the verge of signing a full contract with Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Reports suggest that Asensio and the Turkish club have already reached full agreement and settled personal terms, but now the ball is in the court of the Spaniard's current club, PSG.
Marco Asensio joined PSG in 2023 from Real Madrid as a free agent, but he never managed to secure a regular spot in the Parisians' starting lineup, making just 47 appearances over two seasons, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.
The Spaniard's most recent club was English side Aston Villa, where he played on loan and featured in 21 matches, netting 8 goals.
Asensio's current contract with PSG expires in a year, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 20 million euros.
Reminder: Pulling out all the stops! Fenerbahce are also looking to sign Alexis Sanchez
