Manchester United central midfielder Mason Mount continues to struggle with various injuries.
According to Manchester United's official website, the English player has now sustained a hamstring injury.
The official recovery timeline for Mount has not been disclosed, but according to the Daily Mail, he is expected to be out for several weeks.
This means Mount will definitely miss Erik ten Hag's upcoming match against Liverpool. He is likely to return to the squad after the international break.
In the summer of 2023, Manchester United purchased Mount from Chelsea for €64.2 million, but last season, due to constant injuries, he only played 14 Premier League matches, scoring 1 goal. This season, Mount has featured in both Premier League matches so far.
