Tunisia is seeking a new head coach after sacking Sabri Lamouchi in the middle of the 2026 World Cup. Hervé Renard, who had taken over to lead the Eagles of Carthage for the remainder of the World Cup group stage, declined to stay on following the Tunisian team’s elimination.
In its search for a new manager, the Tunisian football governing body is reported to have set its sights on Mouine Chaabani. The Federation is said to have reached an agreement with the former Esperance de Tunis manager. Mouine Chaabani is currently manager of RS Berkane in Morocco.
