Morocco: Two Friendly Matches to Prepare for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations
Two friendly matches for the Moroccan women's national football team will take place in the coming days. The host cities are Marrakech and Agadir. These matches will be against Burkina Faso and South Africa, according to information from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The first match is scheduled for November 28, 2025, in Marrakech, where the Moroccan women will face the Stallions (Burkina Faso's national team). This will be followed by a second match on December 2 in Agadir against the South African champions.
These friendly matches aim to fine-tune the players' preparation before the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). This competition, which will be held in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026, will bring together 16 African teams, including Nigeria, Senegal, and Ghana.
