Morocco ran riot against their Madagascan opponents on Tuesday 2 June. The Atlas Lions took control of the match from the opening minutes. Saibari opened the scoring in the 4th minute, making it 1-0, before doubling the lead in the 25th minute to make it 2-0.
Rahimi added to the tally in the second half. He scored the third goal in the 78th minute from the penalty spot. El Kaabi sealed Morocco’s victory in the 87th minute, making it 4-0. A convincing win for Morocco as they prepare for the World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Atlas Lions have now gone two matches without conceding a single goal, whilst scoring nine.
