Yesterday in Italy, the best players of the 2023/24 season were honored, with Inter striker Lautaro Martínez receiving the Player of the Year award.
Details: After the ceremony, Lautaro shared a video from his home, placing the new award on his trophy shelf. The shelf includes accolades such as Man of the Match awards from the Champions League, the Copa América 2024 top scorer trophy, his 2022 World Cup medal, and many other honours.
Fans on social media joked that Lautaro Martínez's trophy shelf is larger than Tottenham's entire collection.
However, Lautaro’s current season has been less impressive. In 12 Serie A matches, he has scored only five goals.
