Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah could soon become the highest-paid footballer on the planet.

Details: According to Mirror Football, if Salah completes a summer move to Saudi club Al Nassr, his weekly wages could soar to a staggering £1.2 million. This contract would not only eclipse current deals across European football but also set a new benchmark for global sports salaries.

Beyond the astronomical pay, Al Nassr and league officials are preparing a special role for Salah. It's expected that the Egyptian will become the new face of the Saudi Pro League. Given his status as a leading icon in the Arab world, Salah is seen as a key figure in boosting the league's global profile. This move would put him shoulder to shoulder with Cristiano Ronaldo as the main ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s football ambitions.

For the record, this season the Egyptian has featured in 34 matches for the Merseyside club, netting 10 goals and providing 9 assists.

Reminder: Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife Georgina Rodriguez plays padel tennis in a strikingly provocative outfit.
