Neymar refused to let Messi face his pain alone.

Details: After Lionel Messi posted an emotional farewell letter to his father Jorge, Neymar appeared in the comments to offer his support:

“Lots of strength to you and your family ❤️🙏 A big hug.”

The Brazilian's message quickly caught the attention of the sports media.

Jorge Messi passed away in Rosario at the age of 68 after a long illness. Throughout Lionel's career, he remained one of the key figures by his son's side, supporting him from an early age and managing his football affairs for many years.

Neymar and Messi spent several brilliant years together at Barcelona, and their close relationship endured even after they went their separate ways. In one of the most difficult moments for the Argentine, the Brazilian decided to support his former teammate with a few heartfelt words.

It's worth noting that in his farewell letter, Messi admitted that after his father's death, he doesn't know how to move forward and doubts he'll continue playing football for much longer.

Reminder: "I wanted to bring you the trophy, Dad" — Messi breaks down in a heartfelt letter to his late father.
