Spanish forward Álvaro Morata was taken to the hospital for precautionary tests following Milan's training session.
Details: The "Rossoneri" striker sustained a blow to the head during a team training session on Thursday. According to Sky Sport Italia, Morata suffered the head injury after a clash with central defender Strahinja Pavlović.
The 32-year-old underwent an MRI, which came back negative. However, Morata is expected to remain under observation for several hours and, as a result, will miss Milan’s upcoming trip to Cagliari for their next match.
Reminder: Morata, who joined Milan from Atlético this summer, was one of the standout performers in Milan's convincing 3-1 win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu in the Champions League.
