Monaco's management has made the final decision to activate the buyout option for 23-year-old forward Ansu Fati, who played for the Principality club on loan.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Monegasque bosses are satisfied with the Spaniard's progress and are ready to pay Barcelona a fixed fee of €11 million.
At the moment, the deal is in its final stages, as both parties are finalizing personal terms with the player himself.
Despite selling their academy graduate, the Catalan club will retain the right to a future financial benefit. The agreement will include a sell-on clause, ensuring the Blaugrana receive a percentage if Monaco decides to sell Fati in the coming years.
It is worth noting that this season, the Spanish winger played for Monaco on loan, featuring in 28 matches across all competitions and scoring 11 goals. Transfermarkt values the player at €15 million.
