Monaco midfielder could be suspended for 10 matches. What did he do?

AS Monaco central midfielder Mohamed Camara risks a 10-match suspension.

According to L'Equipe, Camara faces this penalty for covering the LGBT flag on his sleeve during the final Ligue 1 match against Nantes.

The Malian footballer explains that his Islamic faith does not allow him to advocate for LGBT rights.

The decision regarding Camara's suspension will be made in the coming days at a disciplinary committee meeting.

Mohamed Camara joined Monaco in the summer of 2022 from Red Bull Salzburg for €15 million. In the recently concluded season, the 23-year-old midfielder recorded 20 matches, 1 goal, and 2 assists.
