“Mom always said we were alike.” Beckham compared himself to a Hollywood star

David Beckham is rightfully considered one of football's enduring icons. Though he retired from playing long ago, his passion for the sport remains unwavering, as he now serves as the owner of Inter Miami.

Yesterday, the Englishman traveled with his team to New York for an MLS match against NYCFC. On his social media, Beckham shared several photos, capturing moments with various stars who came to support his team. Among them, he posted pictures with Anne Hathaway and Fisher Stevens.

But before the match even began, Beckham had another star encounter.

Details: On his Instagram page, Beckham shared a photo with renowned American actor Matt Damon. Interestingly, both Beckham and Damon look strikingly similar in the picture, a resemblance Beckham humorously highlighted in the caption.
