Mamelodi Sundowns is one of four African clubs set to compete in the Club World Cup. Former coach of the "Brazilians," Rulani Mokwena, hasn't forgotten about his former club and spoke highly of them ahead of the big tournament.

Details: The South African coach, who now leads Moroccan side Wydad (another African representative in the tournament), recalled his contribution to Mamelodi's journey to the tournament and wished his former team good luck.

Quote: "I think we can expect African clubs to perform very well, and I was fortunate to work with two of the four that qualified - with Mamelodi Sundowns, of course, because I was there and helped the club qualify, so I have great respect for them and wish them exceptional success," Mokwena stated.

Reminder: At the Club World Cup, Mamelodi Sundowns will face Ulsan, Fluminense, and Borussia Dortmund.
