Moïne Chaâbani’s Future at RS Berkane Under Speculation Amid Tunisia Links
The head coach of RS Berkane, Moïne Chaâbani, is reportedly on the shortlist of applicants for the role of head coach of the Tunisian national team. Chaâbani, 43, has an outstanding record with RS Berkane, having won 18 games, lost 4, and drawn 1. His leadership has been instrumental in the team’s success during the 2024-2025 campaign.
Chaâbani has had an impressive career, winning seven titles with Espérance Sportive de Tunis, including two consecutive CAF Champions League wins in 2018 and 2019. Despite his achievements, a representative from the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has denied the rumors, saying, “Nothing is official yet.”
The FTF is still looking for a new coach to lead the "Eagles of Carthage" in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and Chaâbani is considered a strong option, along with other well-known candidates.
For now, Chaâbani is concentrating on his current role with RS Berkane, but there is increasing talk about what he might do next.
