Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank has confirmed that Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a thigh injury.
Kudus sustained the injury during Tottenham’s clash with Sunderland, where he was forced off in the first half following an early knock. Medical scans later revealed damage to his quadriceps and tendon, ruling the attacking midfielder out for several weeks.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Frank admitted the injury is a significant one and confirmed that Kudus is not expected to return until after the March international break.
“Kudus is a bigger one, to the tendon and quad, and don’t expect him back until after the March international break,” the Tottenham boss said.
