Mohamed Salah on fire in the Super Lig! The Egyptian secures victory for Trabzonspor with a brace

Mohamed Salah has lost none of his attacking prowess. Having joined Trabzonspor this summer after leaving Liverpool, the Egyptian international is already making his mark in Turkey.

Mohamed Salah made a big impact on Sunday 23 August during matchday 2 of the Super Lig, securing victory for his side against Istanbul Başakşehir FK. Egypt’s Pharaoh opened the scoring in the 8th minute to put his team 1–0 ahead. Istanbul Başakşehir FK equalised about ten minutes later to level the score at 1–1.

But Trabzonspor were able to count on Mohamed Salah to win the match. The Egyptian international found the back of the net once more to complete a brace. The 34-year-old striker scored Trabzonspor’s winning goal in the 48th minute, making it 2-1.

Thanks to this brace, Mohamed Salah secured Trabzonspor’s first win of the season in the Super Lig. The Egyptian has thus made a sensational start to his Turkish league campaign.
